kotai - “solid”
My Kotai frame has a solid presence. Thick legs, sides, ends and matching headboard, which is inspired by the Torri Gate walked under at the entrances to Shinto Temples. Walking under when entering symbolises crossing into the spiritual world and leaving the physical and vice versa when leaving.

Solid 90mm x 20mm select grade pine slats.
Head board height made to mattress thickness.
Quick and easy assemble.
Solid wood is finished with environmentally friendly, green star rated low VOC, natural pigment hardwax oil stains and clears.
Customisable, can be made higher, lower, wider, no head, etc.
